Stanley Marsh's Cadillac Ranch has become a nearly routine stop for us
when we travel west. Ten old Cadillacs, buried nose-first in a field.
It's on I-40 just west of Amarillo, and we are usually there right
after lunch, so it's a good time for a break. Although I have been on
four previous occasions, it was Mitchell's first time. One funny
observation: I have noticed that these cars are getting thicker to the
touch from so many layers of graffiti painted on them.
